Mozambique Lapidary

These are some of the fresh mined agates from Tete province in Mozambique. They are also know as Swazi agate.

These batches are part of the highest quality rough material that has hit the specimen market yet from this location. This is the most affordable lapidary selection of this rough. They will mostly be nicely windowed pieces that require a bit of creativity, with fantastic potential for killer pieces!

Some pieces for cutting, and mostly lapidary material for dome poilishing, also suitable for cabbers and high-quality tumbling!

This selection contains ca. 2-10 pieces per kilo.

In these batches most of the nodules will be windowed, with great quality guaranteed!

They can have beautiful banding with strong contrast. Sometimes even parallax or needle type pseudomorphs can be cut. Water level banding is another common type you often find in combination with fortification banding!

The predominant colors are blue red and white, with shades of pink and purple!
