This is the L version of Polyhedroid agates from Brazil

This is a rare opportunity to obtain natural Polyhedroid rough agates from Brazil! These pieces are among the most desired rough stones on the market and are practically impossible to find today. They have been mined out for about 50 years, securing their place as one of the most intriguing agate varieties in the entire world.

We are offering these rare treasures in four different sizes:

Size S: 1.4 to 2.0 in

Size M: 1.8 to 3.5 in

Size L: 3.0 to 4.7 in

Size XL: 3.5 to 5.5 in

Polyhedroid agates are famous for their remarkable geometric shapes. They originally formed in the spaces between large baryte plates, which created their unique exterior angles. Some specimens even feature multiple chambers. Inside, you can discover bands of white, blue, yellow, or even near black tones, along with sparkling druzy crystals and botryoidal formations in open cavities.

Because of their natural geometry, some pieces are relatively flat or have tricky angles for cutting. Especially in the smaller size selections, certain stones might actually make better natural display specimens than cutting material. We have carefully balanced every pre-packaged rainbow bag so that each lot includes a fair mix of lighter and darker skinned pieces. We have done our absolute best to make the selection fair, but unfortunately we don’t have X-ray vision!
