Mexico Laguna L

This is the L version of Laguna agates from Mexico

This is a rare opportunity to obtain Laguna rough agates from Mexico.

These rough stones are some of the most prestigious rough stones on the market.

They have been mined for almost a century now and claim the spot of the best agates in the world! The Laguna claims are the most southern of the same mountain range producing other agate localities further up north, such as Coyamito, Agua Nueva, and El Sueco.

They can have a beautiful fine banding inside, with lots of parallax and a practically unlimited amount of colors. Even though they are known for producing some of the world's finest agates, it doesn't mean that every agate will cut nice. Just like at any other location, these rough stones will contain fractures, dull colors, and quartz. Only because they come at a high price point doesn't guarantee great specimens.

All rough stones are a gamble, and with these, the gamble is as high as it can get.

Please only buy these if you are aware of the risks of buying rough agates.

I personally hand-selected this material and had the intention to cut all of these myself.

They are available in 3 sizes. Size S will be specimens in a size of 1-2 inches,

Size M will be in a size of 2-4 inches, Size L will be in a size of 4-7 inches.

Not much of this material is available, so if you want to get some, you should probably get it soon! You rarely ever see this higher quality material available!
