Turkish delight + Parpart collection Live Show!

Dear collectors with fine taste,

Just a few months ago I went to Turkey, sourcing agates from all different locations across the country. If you are not familiar with the different Turkish localities make sure to go back to my YouTube channel in December to familiarize yourself with them. 

It has been a wild trip with a lot of curveballs and rocks in the way, but it has been a success in getting beautiful agates. I learned a lot there and hope you did too!

With my travels I haven't been able to do a lot of cutting, but now finally 4 months later, I am doing the first cutting session with you to show you how I cut some of the most beautiful rough stones I sourced on this trip. Killer specimens guaranteed!

The specimens from the new video are now ofcourse directly available on my website, along with more beautiful pieces from Turkey. 

The main reason for my trip was to get to the source and learn more about the turkish limbcast. There is some rough competition in the agate market in Turkey and not everyone is playing fair. With these rivalries it has been difficult, specifically in the village of Göynücek, where the limbcast is found. The struggles have continued with some of the locals getting in physical fights with authorities and for a few weeks now the region has stopped producing entirely due to these geopolitical reasons and armed forces patrolling the area, preventing further mining after repeated fights, months after I have been there. 

With this news I think it is unlikely that we will see large amounts of this material coming out of the region and I am just grateful for what I have been able to source at the time. 

With this new video drop we have updated our rough rock page even more with new limbcast types in the inventory. We have stocked up the listings for individual casts, but now also have a listing with larger sized pieces in a specimen and a lapidary grade. Please read carefully through the inventory description to decide which of these you would like to order.

If you are more hands on... We will be doing a Live Show on my YouTube channel on Sunday (10am West coast, 1pm East coast, 7pm german). The main focus will be on specimens I have sourced in Turkey, both polished as well as rough pieces from different localities within Turkey.
