This Week’s Malawi Agates: Rare Treasures from the Earth’s Depths
Dear Agate collectors..
This week, we’re proud to present 24 Malawi agates from diverse localities, each a geological masterpiece. Known for their vibrant colors, intricate banding, and unique formations, Malawi agates are a must for collectors.
Why Malawi Agates Stand Out:
Their rich hues, from deep purples to fiery oranges, are due to trace elements like iron oxides (reds/yellows) and manganese (violets/pinks). The fine banding forms from layered silica deposition over time, reflecting changes in the mineral-rich fluids that created them.
The Munich Show:
Joshua and Grzegorz are in Munich this week, enjoying the Mineralientage „The Munich Show“! It’s been wonderful meeting old friends, welcoming new faces, and strengthening business relationships. Many exciting specimens are already on their way to our collection, and you can look forward to seeing them in the coming months.
Missed the the Munich Show?
No problem! Joshua and Clemens have prepared two exclusive livestreams this weekend, broadcasting live from Munich. Don’t miss your chance to join the action from anywhere in the world!
