End of Malawi rough agates?

Dear collectors of the finest agates!!

We have sad and good news! 

Since January 2025 there has been an export ban for all rough stones coming out of Malawi. Just now again, there has been another executive order by the president of Malawi Peter Mutharika, which states that this ban will not be lifted. If it changes some years or months in the future, we simply don't know, but it could well be that, similar to the country of Botswana, never again rough agates can be exported. 

Now the good news: To give you a last chance for now, to get some of your own premium agates from Malawi, we are continuing to keep the Alimajo XL agates in our inventory only until the end of September. We will take it out of our sales inventory at the end of this month. 

The XL version of the Alimajo has only been found in a very small quantity, and I would prefer to have some left for the year(s) to come. It is one of my most favorite materials to cut of anything that's available on the market!!!

To see how good they CAN turn out, you can watch the newest video on my YouTube channel, which is cut from this exact material. The best pieces of this batch are polished, and NOW AVAILABLE on my website. The other 12 pieces will be given away randomly to the first 12 people ordering at least one batch of the Alimajo XL material on my website. 

Other Malawi rough stones from new localities have been added to my website as well, but won't qualify for the giveaways. 

You can also find some fantastic fresh premium "Swazi" Mozambique agates, which I have cut in last week's video. There are only a few batches left of this Premium Raw Swazi agate material as well.

You can get the new 2026 calendar for free, if you order through my website for €500 or more until the end of November. We will keep track of the orders and ship them out automatically at the beginning of December.
